Kelsey Hatesohl

First & Second Grade Teacher, Principal

Mrs. Kelsey Hatesohl is the 1 st and 2 nd grade teacher at Linn Lutheran School. She began her teaching career at Ware Elementary School on Fort Riley, an army base in Kansas. Mrs. Hatesohl taught kindergarten and 2nd grade there. She attended Kansas State University where she received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 2015. Then, she continued her education at Kansas State and received her master’s degree in special education in 2018. 

As a teacher Mrs. Hatesohl loves to learn so she decided to continue her education again and she completed a second master’s degree from Emporia State University in educational administration in 2023. Mrs. Hatesohl is originally from Ottawa, Kansas but has been living in Linn since 2018, when she married her husband. Mrs. Hatesohl and Jared live in Linn with their three children: Hudson, Abigail and Madeline. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading and crafting!

Renae Bott

Fifth & Sixth Grade Teacher

Mrs. Renae Bott is a December 2010 graduate from Emporia State University with a degree in elementary education and an endorsement in English as a second language. In 2012, she completed her Master’s degree from ESU in Master Teacher: Elementary Subject Matter Concentration and in 2023, Renae completed her colloquy through Concordia-Seward. Mrs. Bott taught kindergarten and 3rd grade at Clifton-Clyde Grade School and 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th grade at Linn Lutheran. 

Mrs. Bott is married to Travis and they have four children: Briette, Holden, Cayson, and Declan. In her free time she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with family. The Botts are members of St. John Lutheran Church.

Laura Stunkel

Preschool Teacher

Mrs. Laura Stunkel is a 2009 Kansas State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in K-12 Art Education. Laura taught Art and Character Education at Clifton-Clyde Middle and High School for 8 years. To date, she has taught Preschool since 2017 and is in her first year of teaching 1st-8th grade Art in addition to 1st-6th grade PE at Linn Lutheran School. 

 

Mrs. Laura Stunkel is married to Chad Stunkel.  They live in rural Palmer and have four children: Cash, Hendrix, Hudson and Hawkins. In her spare time she enjoys watching her children play sports, making art, hanging out with friends and camping.  The Stunkels are members of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Ann Ohlde

Office Manager

Mrs. Ann Ohlde, is in her 8th year as Linn Lutheran Secretary, is originally from Clay Center and graduated from Ft. Hays State University with a degree in elementary education. She lives in rural Palmer with her husband Shane, son Dylan, and twin daughters, Lexie & Kyra. Mrs. Ohlde loves being a wife & mom and going to all her children's events, KSU football games, and helping her husband with their cattle herd.

Vickie Wingfield

Classroom Aide

Mrs. Vickie Wingfield grew up in Linn, KS. She moved back here last year, after living in Wellington, KS for ten years, and in Manhattan, KS for many years before that. This is her first year as a Teacher's Aide at Linn Lutheran. Last year she served as a substitute teacher here. She graduated from Kansas State University in 2002 with a degree in Elementary Education. She has been married to Pastor William Wingfield for 22 years, and they have two children who are attending Linn Lutheran, Vanessa and Aaron. They also have two grown daughters, Amy and Elizabeth, and four grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys reading, walking and spending time with her family.

Pastor Tim Koch

Pastor, Zion Lutheran Church, Linn, KS

Pastor Timothy Koch received a BA in Communications: Writing and Rhetoric from Concordia University Seward, NE in 2006. He received his Masters of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis in 2010. He received his Masters of Sacred Theology from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis in 2013. He has served three different parishes (Cresbard & Wecota SD from 2011–2018 | Milbank, SD from 2018–2022 | Linn, KS from 2022–present). 
He is married to Emily, and together the Lord has blessed them with five children.

Pastor Koch has a deep passion for door-to-door evangelism. He also enjoys reading, fishing, and hiking.

Provides financial resources for our school, upgrades to curriculum and technology, capital improvements, and more.  Our endowment board holds an annual dinner auction the Saturday before Thanksgiving to support our school.
